They need to work extra as to find money paying for tuition fees or their lives’ costs. Surprisingly, female leads in most of the Korean drama are poor. #2 – Female leads are often poor while male leads are often rich They want to create social value by spreading through Korean dramas. I’ve heard the way that Korean dramas portray the male lead as a good looking and nice guy is because they want to compensate for the fact that Korean guys are selfish and flattering themselves.

In every Korean drama, the male lead always looks handsome and attractive. #1 – The male lead is always good-looking. Here come stereotypes that we often see when we watching Korean dramas. If we consume it consciously, we’ll notice a number of them.A stereotype in Korean dramas is observed by watching different dramas and then notices the similar or the frequency of characteristics we’ve seen. Korean dramas contain lots of stereotypes. So, people can consume and share via their own websites so it makes Korean drama gain reputation and become popular. These dramas are translated into many different languages. We can see how Korean society, culture or people is like while watching or consuming these dramas. Korean drama is also the one that creates stereotypes among society. With the accessibility of the internet nowadays, people can now more interact and engage to new things or new information.

We can see stereotypes everywhere such as in movies, music videos, or even in TV show we watch! We consume and perceive those stereotypes via TV, Internet and etc. No matter what we see, there is an implication in it. Stereotypes have been created all over the place due to the introduction of mass media. With a step in of media, it somehow influences people’s minds and perception. People now can interact, communicate, create and share the information with each other. Since technology is developed and media is introduced to the society, people receive more information and is opened to the bigger world. I’m already a fan of K-Dramas, a social group! However, I’m just too obsessed with it and when seeing this stereotype topic, I just can’t ignore to write about it relates to K-Dramas. Back to the topic relates to “Korean Dramas” again! Even I’ve created a new blog trying to write something new and not related to K-Dramas.
